My brother swears by Vitimin D for the Flu. He never even gets a cold since he started taking it a few years ago. Before that he caught everything in sight. So I started taking V D every day now. I have Asthma and trying to stay away from sick ones. Hard to do. My sister inlaw and her three kids all had the swine flu two weeks ago.I won't be taking the Vaccine....took one one time and made me sooo sick.Hoping for the best.It irritates me to no end when people who are sick cough in your face with no concern.

Francie I guess you probably missed the time I told how a woman came and sat at my desk and then coughed all over me never even trying to cover her mouth. (She was super sick and loaded with a cold) I sat there stunned for a moment, and then I was shocked and then I got PO'd BIG TIME!!! I thought for a moment how to react, and decided since the "trashy thing" was so rude I'd respond and this is how I responded...I crooked my neck to look right past her to speak to my co-employee at the desk across from mine I said simply "Ashley would you please bring me the can of Lysol spray"? Trashy thing just looked so stunned as if I were deminoc or something hee-hee! I kept righ on as being all business like and finishing our transaction and thanked her and she left. That is so rude and I had the worst case of flu ever from a customer coughing all over me one winter. She did not have to pay my Dr. bill and suffer with severe ear aches, and feel like crap and still have to get up and keep on going I Did, and I refuse to sit silently anymore and be disrespected by someone who has no manners Whose Nickname should be none less than: Trashy Thing!!!

Well they recently started giving the h1n1 vaccine here. I made an appointment for the 17 of December to get mine. Jon does not plan to get it. I was watching on the news yesterday and they said that swine flu infections are actually way down from what they were. Since I have asthma and I am the one who does all of the shopping and bill paying I am going to go ahead and get the shot. My husband doesnt actually get out much.

The infections are reportedly down probably because of a recent disclosure/scandal that they included non-H1N1 illnesses, some not even related to the flu or colds at all, just to bump up the scare tactics.
