For Oldbay:

I do appreciate your comments on the W. issue. I agree that Mr. President isn't as dumb as the media makes him out to be--but I still disagree with most of his policies. I could go on, but perhaps a political discussion is more appropriate on a more aptly-titled thread. :)

LOL at the W confusion.

I try not to while away TOO much of my time keeping up with celebrity news, but some of it is just too much of a trainwreck; I can't look away!

I'm so bummed that I missed the Britney interview on Dateline. Then again, I might have lost some brain cells just by watching it. ;)

Am pretty sure you can search www.youtube.com for the Britney interview. Or at least for highlights. :)

gossip blogs are my new timesucker on the internet. I "just look" at one and before I know it, I've lost a couple hours!

I know what you mean Twinmama. I mean, I realize that I reading those rags couldn't possibly do me any good. But when I open up one page, I always end up opening a host of other gossip sites! Bad bad bad. :p

I guess it's just human nature that we tend to be interested in other people's tragedies--especially those of the rich and famous.

It's also interesting to note that ours is a society where the mob's opinion rules--pedestals can be toppled overnight, it just takes one malicious story.
