People around here do not give the kids much candy when they trick or treat. I like to fix that for them.

We always have pizza at Papaw Frank's when were done. I have a caramel apple muffin recipe I am gonna make for my little sis - their Mama to take home as a treat.

Halloween is my fav holiday to. It is the start of the holiday season and the one holiday I get to spend with my sis's little girls. I have been sending Kev some of my all time fav Halloween movies. Monster Squad, Hocus Pocus, My Boyfriend's Back, My Best Friend is a Vampire, Bram Stokers Dracula and a few others. I am 41 but every year I pull out my copy of Its The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and watch it lol.

My nieces who are 6 and 3 just watched Hocus Pocus and Halloween Town (Disney) for the first time the other day. They loved them. The 6 year old is gonna be a zombie girl and the little one is a pirate. Ill post pics of them in their costumes afterwards.

Here are their costumes. I copied the images from Amazon.
This is Evelyn's costume. I got her super cool spider earrings to wear with it and temp skull tattoos. I even found black shoes with skulls on them to finish out the costume.

Those are cute!

I love Halloween - I do a lot of baking for that day. I'm not a scrooge either. For the kids that live around me - I spoil them - always did. I've got all the Halloween movies lined up - all the old B & W ones from the 1930's rightup to present. Those are our "October" movies!

Do you get American Movie Classics Channel Mama? They show some of those old black and white horror movies during Oct. I have caught lots of the old dracula movies on there. I love the old Frankenstein. When I was a kid on Saturday night we used to sit up late and watch Chiller Theater. Vincent Price was the host and he used to dress up like Dracula. Later years Elvyria hosted it. They showed all of the old BW horror movies.

Yes I do - and I also have a DVD player - so I have accumulated many of them. Some of them I taped years ago (VHS). I watched Chiller - and I don't know if you ever got any of the Canadian channels - but they had a wacky show on Saturday afternoons with all the old spooky movies as well. And on Friday nights it was Fright Night! But Fright Night was during the days before cable! LOL
