Celebrated yesterday at my sister's with a big ham dinner that she cooked, complete w/ a coconut birthday cake. Sis isn't someone who calls herself a cook- but she worked really hard on a huge spread of food, and all was beautiful & scrumptiously delicious... She did good!
A couple weeks back, my Dad & his wife, and sis & her hubby got me several cookbooks that have been on my Amazon wish-list... Mom got me a gift-card (to her fav restaurant - Red Lobster!) and Hailley & Layne got me a beautiful framed 1941 Ansel Adams photo (print) of Alaska's Mt. McKinley. So- this birthday boy really made out well!
