Happy holiday to all of you...

Ours was Friday when the family showed up. So Happy Thanksgiving to the foodie family - one day late -

How was yours? Ours was so nice, I posted photos, don't believe the date on the photos, someones camers does not have the correct date on it! We had a heck of a feast, and have had 3 wonderful days afterwards to finish off all the leftovers! I believe this was our best Thanksgiving ever!!!

It was far from traditional Cathy. Neither of our kids care for turkey and dressing. We had Roast, Meat pies (bought), ham, cheesy potato cassarole, dirty rice (this is Louisiana) plus tons of desserts. Lemon pie, chocolate pie and cheese cake. Of course I snuck in some of my low sodium stuff like a cucumber, onion and apple salad seasoned with garlic and sour cream (a spin off of Mamas cucumber salad) plus my daughter bought me pico from the local Mexican restuarant which I topped with my homemade salsa. It was good and I fell off of my diet a bit.

Traditional or not, it sounds like you all had a great one! And if you only fell off your diet a bit, that 'aint so bad I totally fell off mine hee-hee!!!
