I have LOTS and LOTs of hobbies and interests. Gardening, Painting and art of all types, Rock Hound, Cooking, Exercise, Canoeing, Hiking, Camping, Traveling, Snorkeling, Fashion, Singing, Ballroom and Latin Dance, Reading, nutrition, I love to learn new things. As for new things I want to learn to speak German more fluently so I can communicate better with my husbands parents. I just need to find the time.

Wow we should be neighbors Jfain! I am into all those and Astronomy, and well I do not ballroom dance much except when my Dad visits, he is an excellent dancer loves to Rumba, Tango, Waltz and all...but my hubby had an accident and his back is messed up so we can not go dancing....but heck if we lived closer I'd tag along with you! Hey I might even get realy good at dancing if I could just get in more practice!

I might add that a neighber told me he wants to get me into fly fishing which I might like to try. I've never cared for the Bass Fishing thing of huge boats and electronic everything. I see too many who invest more into that then their house.

The best part of fishing is eating your trophies!!!:D My son once caught a 227 lb. Marlin and they smoked it, I asked him why he did not have it mounted and he said "Why"? I guesshe had a point there! After a while all those trophies hanging on the wall get so dusty! LOL

Astronomy is fun. I have a celestron Nexstar6SE scope I get out with as much as possible and I'm planning on a camera for it one day. My next additions are going to be a couple ED eye pieces, a dialectric diagonal and a better red dot finder. I just gave my 8 inch Dob to my son because his daughter got interested. I have Stellarium on my laptop, a free program that lets you project where stars, planets and satellites will be as well as control computerized scopes with the addition of Stellarium Server and ASCOM drivers. All the software is free for download.

I am truly impressed, it is a fascinating hobby and you have some great equipment!!! And Astro Photography is a marvelous hobby. There is something almost mystical about peering out into our sky at night, it is BEAUTIFUL!!! Even just looking at Pleiades through a good pair of binoculars is breath taking!

I really dig the sky and stars too. AND dancing- though I do not personally dance- but I enjoy all the "Dancing w/ the Starz" type tv shows that are out there.

Astronomy AND ballroom dancing? What a mix, huh? But then, knowing ME- no one is surprised are they? Ha! :):):)
