IC your story is so funny, not really, but in a sad kind of way it is! All those birds inside OH My Gosh, I would have a coronary! Birds carry a disease called psitticosis that is not good (as you mentioned it gets in the lungs) I'd of been scarred to death of catching it! Anyone purchasing a bird to keep in their home should have their birds stool tested at their local vet! I am a bird lover, but because they are so messy I can't tolerate even a parakeet in my house anymore

I had a neighbor once who forgot to turn the oven on and when she went to check the turkey it was still frozen! needless to say they had no turkey that Thanksgiving!
