ok thanks I will check it out. maybe I will get lucky and find some work at home job I could really use the money. how does the one that you work for pay you? do they send checks use paypal or what? and what about taxes do they take them out of your check? If not does it hurt you at the end of the year?

Most of the transcription companies do direct deposit (some still do checks, but not many). You can work either IC or employee, it all depends on the company (can find a lot of med. transcription companies here: < link removed >. IC won't take out taxes at all... but you can claim part of your house/utilities as an office, so that actually benefits me.
I went to < link removed > for my schooling and it took approx. 8 months for me to complete. Everyone is different with that too, as it is a go at your own pace sort of thing.
