Me too!! I've seen a lot - and I bet there is a lot more to me to see!

It is funny that I posted this with what happened here today. We came back home around noon and there were 14+ messages on our machine from a number we had seen a couple of times on the caller ID but they never left a message. Well she left messages today and how! It was a woman who later told Jon she was 84. She thought she was dialing the gas company and did not appreciate getting a machine. With each call she used more and more profanity and became more angry that she wasnt getting an answer. In one message she actually growled in between cursing.

When we came home Jon tried to call her number back to tell her she was dialing a wrong number but he didnt get an answer. Five minutes later she calls again. I told Jon it was her when I saw the number on the ID box and when he said hello she rips into him saying she wants some *%%***##!! gas and she wants it now! I could tell Jon was torn between laughing and being ticked off.
He told her she had the wrong number and that he didnt appreciate the vulgar messages she had left and that she was old enough to know better than to carry on that way. He told her if she ever called again he would report her to the phone company. He was telling his Dad about it and his Dad knew exactly who the woman was. His Dad said the woman was in her 80's and had always been a mean old foul mouth witch.

I'd call the phone company on her anyway - no one should be subject to that!

Jon said he would call them on her if she called anymore. She has never called again. I pity the gas company when she finally got them. What a mouth she had on her!

The good thing about that - working for a company - you do not have to put up with that - you can hang up and no one will write you up or fire you for it. Up here - if anyone even raises their voice at a utility customer, etc. - they will hang up and not take another call from you - they don't have to. You cannot abuse anyone like that.
