He was supposed to stop by and get the recipes today but couldnt make it at the last minute. I woke up this morning feeling bad and it looks like I have strep throat. I hate to see what I could have done to his already compromised immune system. I had some antibiotics in the cabinet I started but I def have strep.
jglass sorry to hear about your strep throat ~ you may want to see your doctor and too because the antibiotics you are taking may not be the correct strain to clear your strep throat and that can have an effect on your immune system as well ~ some antibiotics can't help a certain strain and it has either no effect or a compromising effect ~ and when you see your doctor it can have the "correct" antibiotic not work at all. How do I know this~ well I use to do the same and I had the back lash of taking the wrong antibiotics.

Did you have a prescription for antibiotics that you didn't use completely when you had a different infection? Really everyone needs to take the entire perscription each time you are given antibiotics. If you don't take the whole thing and some of the bug is left in your system it can become immune to the antibiotic. That is how we end up with super bugs that kill lots of people.
