NY - just off Lake Erie in the snow belt. a/k/a H.E.L.L. - they say h.e.l.l is hot??? nope - it's freezing cold!

I couldnt take it lol. It has been 48 here for a few days now. Supposed to be that way for a couple more.
It feels like a heatwave compared to what we have had.

believe it or not - we are having a bit of a thaw - sounds good with temps getting into the 30's - but as all this begins to melt and the temps begin to drop again - not a good thing - snow storms are one thing - ice storms are another

we are famous for those late January blizzards that paralyze everyone - I don't get excited about these little thaws that come around occasionally - I'm afraid of what is following it

I'm with ya, mama! Some of the worst winter storms here in Illinois I can remember came Easter weekend! We ain't outta the woods here until long 'bout late-March/early-April. Until then? ANYTHING can happen!

here it always snows for the St. Paddy's Day Parade - that is a definite - after that we can start to think spring - sometimes....
