I am so sorry jglass, I am so accustomed with us in New York City living blocks away from each other, in apartments, that I totally forgot about people living far away from each other outside the city. That is why I vacation in Vermont every year, so much space no one breathing down your necks. I am tired of city life, I need space lots of space and privacy. I am sorry about your car, you are so positive by saying even if the weather is yucky you will make a go for it. I admire that! I was just teasing about surprising the girls.

I understand. I wish they lived closer but they live way out in the middle of no where. They have to drive a long distance to even get to a store. I would never be happy living that far out there. My entire life I have never lived more that 4-5 miles from town.
Atleast in this town we have 3 grocery stores - even though they smaller. We have lots of restaurants and other stores. They have like one gas station that sells a few convenience items where they live.

To me getting away from the hustle and the bustle of city life going to the middle of nowhere iis pure heaven, that is why Vermont attracted me so much, we stopped at a couple of stores in town and headed for the log cabins deep in the woods. I look forward to that experience every year, and we select a rustic log cabin instead of the modern ones, they are so cool and original it takes my breath away, the fronts steps partially broken the living room floor has a hole in it with a center rug covering the hole on many occasions I brought brownies went walking by the river came back and they were partially eaten leaving teeth marks. I was comfortable they were just helping themselves to my sweets. I love it.
