My homemede mayo is so good, and I have never had the desire to eat mayo biscuits or cake, it just seems like a waste of mayo to me! It is so expensive to buy mayo now, around here it is over $3.00 a jar! That is ridiculously high, especially when you can make your own for pennies! I use good canola oil and so I know mine is healthier than store bought!
Isn't the price of mayonnaise ridiculous? We are close to 4.00 a jar here. I would stick to using butter or shortening. They taste better than Mayonnaise in biscuits anyway.
