I just found out recently that there is a major heroin problem in central Ohio (where I live). I had no idea.
I was delighted when a cop moved in the apartment around the corner from us.
LOL..Cathy I have never gone to any great length to save food. Once was without power 3 days but my freezer was empty at the time.

Gosh francie, i was running out to the garden on those early in the spring nights when we had frost in the forecast and covering my little plants up to protect them, and then uncovering in the morning! The only thing i could not do anything about was the stinking flood!
Oh yeah I forgot to mention all the Canning & freezing that we do to save up all the extra food we have in our gardens!
Why heck the Seal-A-Meal and Food Saver companies would be out of business if folks weren't trying to save their precious food supply!
