We have a lot of those here too. But they are not as nice as your friend.

There was one guy in the area that hubby would give food and water to. He was always grateful. He never asks but he would always stay a bit longer when he know that hubby would water the plants in the morning. We have not seen him for about two years. Last he told us he was going back to the province with his brother, who he says he stays with. I've never thought about him for some time and this makes me want to say a prayer for him tonight.
