Being the only single guy in my group at work, I always volunteer to work the holidays in my company's 24/7 department, so co-workers can be at home w/ their spouses and kids. Last night we did our gift exchange w/ Mom at my sister's house. Many great presents and Karla made lasagna- I took pies and a rum cake and we watched a movie and played board games. Thursday night my sister and her family will bring our Dad to my place. We'll have appetizers and order pizza delivery and have our gift exchange w/ Dad. Then Friday I'll meet visiting out of town friends at Avanti's for Italian feasting- and Saturday I work a double-shift! Merry Christmas everyone!

I took sugar cookies, banana bread & peanut butter fudge to my father in laws for tomorrow. I am going to make a fruit tray but not til right before we leave for his place.
I stopped by the little store here in town to get a couple of things I forgot and it was a madhouse! I got lucky and made it first in line right as they opened a new one. Otherwise I would have been in there for hours.
