Yep, phoenyxstarr, I do hear you--I'm not pasty white but I'm not brown either. If I could be tanned and not worry about cancer I would but that scare with the flaky patch on my forehead AFTER all the precautions that I had been taking over the years to avoid the sun, wear 30+ sunscreen, etc., and to learn that it was a pre-cancerous lesion sent me over the top. Our once protective ozone layer is not what it used to be so more hazardous rays are getting through and skin cancer rates have soared especially among young people. Many reputable tanning salons will regulate how much you are allowed to tan--it's worth the extra bucks if you are truly interested in being safe. Also, for those of you who want a cheaper version of a very good antiwrinkle cream WalMart sells their own Equate brand "Anti-Wrinkle Cream" which is a multi-vitamin facial treatment with Pro-retinol. It's a great moisturizer under your make-up and does not clog the pores. So you won't get pimples using it. Yep, I'm 53 and still get pimples---can you believe it?? OH, and WM is not paying me to recommend their product--everyone is on a budget these days.
