Has anyone tried these? a friend of mine gave me some the other day. They are made by Nabisco and each pack has one hundred calories. I think it is a nice treat and you dont have to worry about the calories. I had the kind with pretzels, cheeze crackers and chex mix in it.

These are great for lunches - portion control and it's usually just the right amount to go with my sandwich.

However, they are expensive, so really if I wasn't so lazy I would take regular chex mix or whatever and measure 100 calorie portions into a bag.

Oh Ok, I didnt know they were expensive. that makes alot of sense what you're saying about just putting them in bags.

It's unfortunate that all those cute little packs for lunches and calorie watchers are so expensive. A friend of mine buys everything in bulk and portions it all out - puts her kids to work that way - measuring and sealing bags and placing in plastic containers in her pantry. Then it's just grab and go. And by doing it that way she is losing weight with everything already measured out! So not only is she saving money, but she is losing weight by watching her portions without even trying!

They do it with everything - cookies, crackers, cereals, snacks - everything is measured out by portion size.

The 100 Calorie packs are really good for snacks for the kids as well as for us grown ups. They are expensive unless you have a coupon. I know that at times Walmart has them for about 2.00 box.
