Various salts - are they interchangeable?

depends on what you are making - I bake using kosher salt most of the time - but I have to adjust the measurement (not that I measure anyway) because of the size of the crystals - if you are making soup,s stews, casseroles, salads, meats, veggies, etc. - you can substitute sea salt for kosher with no problems

The only salts I have in my house right now are the kosher and the sea salt. I use the kosher for cooking/baking and the sea salt to dash onto some already plated foods. I guess I need to get some regular iodized salt but is it absolutely necessary?
