You didn't try to peel the bark off a tree with it yet, Did you? Lol.
I'm glad you received your order so fast and you like how it works.

I just have an Oxo Good Grip Peeler. It's just a straight peeler. I guess you could say I caved years ago when I bought it. I grew up using a parring knife.
I have seen some peelers that have ceramic cutters. I have always wondered how anything ceramic would hold up as far as sharpness goes. I know that ceramic material is harder than steel.

I have just the regular steel potato peelers, they came in a 2 pk. I bought them at Target. This year I bought a japanese chopping knife for veggies, it has a nice handle on it. I have a small paring knife, it's small (pink) just for fruit.

I like gadgets to, I did see the peeler on TV you bought and it could peel the bark of trees lol. :D It looked like a really Good peeler. Cookie :)

So far Im very happy with it. I used it yesterday to peel six big russet potatoes. Makes quick work out of apples. I have always used a paring knife in the past for peeling.
