I was doing some marvelous Moroccan cooking yesterday and I notied that I have some yellow stains on my white countertop from cooking with the curry. Any advice on how to remove the stains? I have tried bleach but it hasn't worked.

how about lemon juice, baking soda and salt??

I have noticed that with my cream laminate countertops that they stain very easily and that it takes awhile for the stains to come out - i think in a week or two if you wash it every few days it should fade and come out. That has been my experience with berry stains (which leave blue dots on the counter).

But when we replace these counters - we will NOT be getting a light color for this reason!

Eeww. Sounds like a good reason to get a new countertop
