There are many restaurants/chefs that feel the only way to BBQ shrimp is to do it in a skillet. Either way it is good - but there is just something about a true BBQ's shrimp on the grill!! Just marinate anyway you want and grill till done - which takes less time than burgers and dogs!

I have had them on a stick with veggies and beef chunks. It is really good that way. It is best if you use a marinade. Soy, bbq sauce, it lemon, whatever suits you.

1 large clove garlic
1 tablespoon coarse salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 wedges lemon, for garnish
Preheat grill for medium heat.
In a small bowl, crush the garlic with the salt. Mix in cayenne pepper and paprika, and then stir in olive oil and lemon juice to form a paste. In a large bowl, toss shrimp with garlic paste until evenly coated.
Lightly oil grill grate. Cook shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until opaque. Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with lemon wedges, and serve.
This is my favorite recipe for grilled shrimp. If you like spicey food, you will love this recipe.

Shrimp is one of my favorite foods to grill. A well-seasoned shrimp kebab can't be beat.

KitchenSink I couldn't agree with you more!!! We even had them with Christmas Dinner one year! The presentation is so colorful and they are the best tasting K-bobs of any variety!
