Chili with noodles tonight

We made chili with French's Chili-o tonight. It's such an easy and tasty chili. Probably the best chili I've had and from a package at that. We serve it over spaghetti noodles, and top with a little fresh chopped onion. And a little Cheddar cheese.

Umm. Umm. good.

That sounds great. will have to try thay some time. Taco bell makes a chili, frieto and bean, burrito. really great, easy to make at home too.

That sounds extremely interesting I can't even imagine what It would taste like. I am deffinately going to have to give it a shot. Thanks for posting this.

Oh was also going to add think I could use nalley chili or do i have to use a specific kind to make it taste right?

I think you can use any chili you like, even vegetarian. We have a local chili joint that serves the chili this way, so we sorta copied it. They offer 3 kinds of chili, Texas, Cincinatti, and veggie. Texas is what we think of as chili, Cincinatti has some cocoa powder added, and veggie is vegetarian [and since I'm a carnavore I must say it is good]. They serve the chili over pasta, with chopped onions, and with grated Cheddar cheese. Your choice. Since eating there, we almost always serve chili in this way.

We like to put a little sour cream on things It sounds like it would be good in this too.

That sounds really good! I've never had Cincinnati chilli. I've also never had chilli over noodles. I've always had chilli with mashed potatoes.

Thanks for the info. I like to try new dishes....I get tired of the same old thing all the time.

because of this thread, I am making cincinnati four-way chili tonight. chili, ground beef, brown sugar, rotel, all on top of macaroni.

My mom used to do that with leftover chili. I used to think it was WRONG (I was a teen, I knew everything :p). Just last year, I learned of Cinncinati chili, and it blew my mind! My mom didn't know she was cooking a regional specialty. She was just using up the leftovers!

It's going to be cold this weekend. It would be an awesome time to whip up some chili. Leftovers would be nice on top of some spaghetti, too. ;)

new here, but had to jump in on this. Always served chili either on rice or mixed with maceroni. Never even thought of serving it on Spagetti! Going to have to try this! Thanks for the great idea!

When you folks are talking Cincinatti Chili, are you talking about chili made with Cocoa powder? Like the Mexican meals made with Mole? I love that type of chili and chocolate too.
