Good Evening. We are having Deep fried Croaker and whiting with basmati rice. Thats it. I'm keeping it simple tonight. OH with apple juice or grape juice.

Sounds interesting. What's croaker? Some kind of frog? Just kidding about that... but seriously what is it?

Not sure that I have ever had Croaker before. I know for sure I have had whiting. In all honestly, the whiting I had was a little too fishy for my preference.

I have not had Croaker either. Could it be baked? I not much for fried fish.

I like that .
Its been 5 days we ate that.
Btw whats basmati rice.
I neve heard about that.

Yes it can be baked. I have never had it baked but it can be baked. That is probably way less calories.

Fish aye? The first thing that came to my mind was a frog (croaker), but fish makes a lot of sense too.

I may have eaten croaker or whiting before. When I lived in Spain my house mother would make us fish all the time to eat and it was really good, but i never knew what it was called.

Basmati rice is a wonderful fluffy rice used in Indian food and other asian cuisines - wayyyyyyy better than 'white rice'.

Basmati rice has a wonderful nutty flavor. Between basmati rice and brown rice (and also arborio rice for when I make risotto), I don't even bother with regular white rice anymore.
