To put aside any rumors, I pulled up my boot straps and decided to make some pizza. As usual the wife made the dough. We didn't have the usual ingredients for toppings but that didn't stop me

First up is the type of pizza I grew up on. On any given day, I could stop by Grandma's house on my way walking home from school and count on a piece of pizza. This was no frills basic pizza, a nice crust, a good sauce and some parmesan and romano cheese

Next we have the same with some mozzarella added on top

(no children were harmed in the preparation of this meal)

Your Grandma's pizza with the sauce and grated cheeses iswhat I was brought up on. It is my favorite. I could care less if I have sliced cheese and pepperoni on pizza.

Did she ever fry the dough in hot oil (deep fry) and sprinkle it with sugar? another favorite that I can't live without!

Oh yeah, I used to put butter on it first, then when the butter melted, I'd sprinkle the sugar on it mmmmmmmmmmmmm that was some good stuff

We've got to put a STOP to Rick's pictures!

I'm sick and tired of coming in to work- hungry already... then being subjected to his delicious suppers while I've got nothing but egg salad, crackers and grapes waiting for me in the fridge! :):):) It just ain't right!
