Winning Combo

Last night my family did dinner and a movie. I cooked cajun chicken pasta and we watched the Pope John Paul II movie featuring Jon Voight, recommended by my coworker at umgd. The pasta and the movie were both great and everyone was pleased - you can only imagine how hard it is to please an entire family with food and a movie, but this combo was a winner. I recommend all of you try it. The dvd case gives a site, johnpaul2movie.com, if you're interested in checking it out.

That is a great idea to have a movie and dinner night with the family. I am sure that there are so many movies that you could do a dinner theme with. Italian food for good mob movies and hamburgers and hot dogs for sport related movies. The list is endless.

We have the nfl package. And every Sunday night during football season we eat on tv trays and watch the games. Everyone loves it. It's usually easy foods, like hotdogs or hamburgers or wings...Easy to eat in the den. It's a break from my usual big Sunday dinners and we all look forward to it. Somehow, eating in front of the tv is a big treat to the kids.
