oh my gosh this looks delicious! Pumkin and apple cinnamon muffins separately are my favorite so they must be amazing combined!

The recipe looks good and I love apple muffin but haven't tried a pumpkin muffin before. This is really interesting. I will try and make this one of these days. Thanks for the recipe! :)

That sounds like it's right up my alley. Pumpkin is one of mine and my son's favorite fall flavors. I may have to try these on his first day of school as an extra special treat!

BTW, I'm assuming the muffin cups are to be greased? :)

If you use the paper liners they do not need to be greased but if you do not use liners you will need to grease the pan. This rule goes for all muffins, cupcakes, anything that you bake in cupcake tins. The liners also make for easier cleanup!

Regarding paper liners VS greasing muffin cups for muffins and cupcakes -

liners are a great convenience; not using liners will allow the cupcakes or muffins to rise higher than using liners would.

Your choice.

Mama, good info. I did not know that not using liners would make them rise higher.

I have them baking right now (without liners) and OMG do they smell good!

They were outrageously delicious! My husband took some into work with him and everyone raved about how good they were. Thanks a million for posting the recipe!

I didn't have any pumpkin pie spice so I substituted the following:

1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon allspice
