I grew up with this recipe, a twist on SOS in NH. I haven't found many people that like it, but, it is a comfort food for me. Hope you enjoy.
2 Tbl Cornstarch
2 C Milk
4 Tbl Butter or Margarine
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
4 Hard Boiled Eggs, peeled, roughly diced
Paprika
Stir together milk and cornstarch in medium saucepan until smooth. Add butter, salt and pepper. Simmer over medium heat until desired thickness. Add eggs, stir and serve with Paprika sprinkled over the top.

I grew-up on this as well and I love it! Every now and then Mom would slip dried beef into it- and I have made it over dill biscuits w/ kippered salmon it it.
