Time for breakfast

I used to cook like this all the time. Now it's only on a rare occasion. Today our daughter wanted a "big" breakfast

I told her that she'd have to help out, so here she is peeling potatoes

we made some bacon and hash browns. The hash browns were seasoned with BBQ rub

Beautiful Daddy's little helper! And what a terribly wonderful looking breakfast!!! You all are my kinda' people that's for sure! I love the whole family getting in on th fun.

how do you know she is the last???

things happen you know!

nine kids - OMG - I would be in heaven!

I'm and only child of an only child that married an only child

one of my classmates when we were 9 and in 4h grade - she had a 3 year old sister - and her mom was 62 when she had her little sister

Nice grub, Rick! Nice kitchen too- and your l'il daughter is an angel
fer shure ! :)

(BTW, Rick... I just re-watched the Dolly Parton in London Concert DVD I got a couple weeks back... and Dolly mentions being one of twelve children. She says she didn't actually think her folks knew exactly what was causin' all the babies.... HMMM... Maybe this is the issue at your house, too? Hee-Hee! :) )

Our kids go from 9 yrs old to 31. The older ones are more of a pain in the ass. You never stop worrying about them and they do their best to make you worry sometimes too. But all in all, I'm very thankful. One of the few parts of my life I have no regrets for.

Rick - you have been so blessed!

And if you have any more and you don't want them - send them to me - my door is open!

(9 children and you couldn't handle being Mr. Mom??????)

Rick and Mama, if either of you have any extras I'll take a couple. I should have had at least a dozen; DH would like that too. I have just two daughters and two grandsons. Just don't get to see them often enough. Rick, you are richly blessed. Love that little girl helping her Daddy with breakfast. So cute. Your kitchen is very nice.

If only I could turn back the hands of time - I would have married and had as many as I could have - and I would have adopted even more.

Love your kitchen cabinets!

I hope that was sarcasm, if it was I am in agreement. Those cabinets suck and are slated for removal. That whole kitchen is wrong, but it was what was in here when we got it.

Your kitchen cabinets look much better than the ones in my apartment. They look great in that photo.
