My battery on the suv went so i can`t get to a store right now but have to make cookies for tonights cookie swap ....
My recipe calls for unsalted butter and then has some salt in the recipe . What would happen if I ommitted the salt in the recipe and used the salted butter instead ??? will my cookies turn out okay you think ??? Or will my cookies be ruined ?

>>will my cookies be ruined ?
not even close - but things are 'relative' to the amounts.
salted butter has about 0.117 grams of salt per tablespoon
that 0.936 grams per 'stick' - call it 1 gram....
a teaspoon of table salt is about 10 grams; tablespoon = x3 or roughly 30 grams of salt
you can judge whether you need to 'cut back' on the salt based on how much salt is called for . . .

Many times I've used salted butter in my baking without adjusting my salt - no problem
