Ingredients: one pound of large, peeled, and deveined shrimp; 3/4 cup yellow corn meal; 1/2 cup flour; 1/2 tsp of black pepper; 1/2 tsp. chili seasoning; 1 tsp garlic powder. Blend ingredients (exept the shrimp) in a bowl. Next beat one egg in separate bowl. Dip shrimp in egg and then cornmeal mix. In large fry pan, heat 1/4 cup of olive. Add 2 tblspoons of vegetable oil and 1 tbs. of butter to the olive oil on the pan. When oil gets hot drop shrimp in and fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
