Now you're talking my language!!! Yeah snorkeling with those 'cuda is kind of a feeling that's hard to explain. I went with a boat trip too, but also went several times just off the shore and that is where I got the most 'cuda following me, I had some gold threads in my suit and they thought I was a lure for sure!!! Hee-hee they kept circling me and finally I gave up and got out. When you were snorkeling did you see all the Lobster? They were everywhere when I went.

Did you go visit the Mel Fisher museum? All the gold and emeralds were just splendid, of coure the emerald ring I WANTED only cost a few grand like 33:D

And how about Ernest Hemingway's home? Did you get to see it? I LOVE THE KEYS!!!! I grew up in Miami Florida so the Keys are in my blood, as well as the Everglades! I LOVE FLORIDA!

I love the Keys, especially Key West. It's the only place I've ever been that I walk everywhere! And yes I've poked my nose in every museum, store and bar there! I love the store that has all the feather masks I bought so many cuz I couldn't decide which one I liked the best. And I bought this painting that is a dog pedaling a bicycle and the old man is riding in the front basket with his legs hanging out the front. Such a hoot! I've wanted to take Josh but wanted to wait till he was old enough to not only walk it but truly enjoy it and all the islands all the way down. I usually fly into Miami and then drive so I can stop all along the way. Josh is 10 so I think this summer, I'll surprise him.:)

I LOVE snorkeling and scuba diving too! I've been to the keys and the snorkeling was really nice there. My favorite though was in Turkey. I chased a poor spooked octopus for an hour! We went on a sailboat trip on the Mediterranean around Turkey. It was also just fabulous and lots of fresh seafood. I spent quite a bit of time in the small kitchen with the chef trying to learn his secrets. He was really nice about it though.
