Ya know what, Cath? I do still have Brook's recipe... I've made it 3-4 times... and it's a good one, too! I was a Shrimp & Grits virgin until I tried his version... Only bad thing is it's on my home computer- which is currently out of commission!

Let me reach out to him and see if I can get it for ya! (I tried googling a recipe- but I ain't gonna offer any of'em, 'cause Brook's is entirely different than any others I've found. Brook's actually calls for ketchup among the ingredients- and it is SO yummy!

I LOVE snorkeling and scuba diving too! I've been to the keys and the snorkeling was really nice there. My favorite though was in Turkey. I chased a poor spooked octopus for an hour! We went on a sailboat trip on the Mediterranean around Turkey. It was also just fabulous and lots of fresh seafood. I spent quite a bit of time in the small kitchen with the chef trying to learn his secrets. He was really nice about it though.

I spent a year in Turkey. Compliments of our Department of Defense. I was in a very rural area though but we did have some clear water.
