Cordon Bleu recipe

As I have read so many good recipes in this forum I just want to share one of my favorite recipes for Cordon Bleu (veal filled with cheese).

Ingredients for four persons:

  • 8 pieces of veal (each 80 g)
  • 4 thin slices of ham
  • 4 thin slices of cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 spoons of flour
  • 4 eggs mixed with a little salt and 2 spoons milk
  • breadcrumbs
  • 1 citron cut in 4 pieces

Put the slices of cheese and ham on 4 pieces of veal and cover the filling with the other four slices veal. Use toothpicks to band the meat together. Put salt and pepper on the schnitzel and cover them with flour. Then draw the meat through the milk-egg mixture and put the breadcrumbs on. Bake the filled schnitzel in butter and finished. Enjoy a real european meal :)
