1 C applesauce
1 pkg. unflavoured geletin
or 1 pkg. apple flavoured geletin
1 C sugar
1/2 C nuts, preferably walnuts - chopped fine
Heat applesauce to boiling; add geletin and sugar and stir until dissolved. Add nuts. Pour into buttered dish and allow to set until hardened. Cut small candy pieces from dish and roll pieces in powdered sugar.
This is so very easy and fun to make and everyone loves it. My husband and kids could make a meal out of this stuff.
