Don't let the name of this dish fool you - it's a really yummy pudding that the students at Eaton College, for generations, have loved.
Ingredients:
12 oz. strawberries - hulled and sliced
2 tbls. sugar
2 tbls. orange juice or orange liquor
1 1/4 C heavy cream
5 oz. store bought meringue cookies
Directions:
Cmobine berries, sugar and orange juice in a bowl and crush with a fork.
Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Crush meringues into bite-sized pieces.
Stir crushed meringues into whipped cream. Add berries and their juice and fold together . Spoon into individual dessert cups. Serve immediately. It's really delicious and you'll definitely come back for more.
