Apple Onion Sauerkraut
1 lb sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
1 red delicious apple, peeled, cored and finely chopped
1/4 onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup dark corn syrup
1 Tbsp pork drippings or vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
In medium bowl, combine sauerkraut, apple, onion, corn syrup, drippings, sugar and cinnamon; spoon into shallow casserole.
Bake in 350°F oven 30 minutes, stirring once.
