Sweet n sour veggies

Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Cooking Time : 20 minutes
Serves / Makes : 2-3

Ingredients
1/2 cup carrot(sliced lengthwise)
1/2 cup french beans
1/2 cup tofu/paneer(cut lengthwise)
1/4 cup spinach(cut lengthwise)
1/4 cup spring onion(the shoots only)
1/2 cup of babycorn(sliced lengthwise)
salt to taste
a pinch of ajinomoto
5-6 tbsp. of soya sauce
2 tsp. of tomato ketchup
4-5 tbsp. of vinegar
2 tsp. of pepper powder
3 cups of water
1 tsp. of oil
1 tsp of corflour

Method
Cut the spring onions into 1" pieces.
In a pan,add the oil.
Then add carrots,french beans and babycorn adding little water at a time.
Cook till partially done.
Add the spinach and spring onions and cover lid till done.(the vegetables should not be overcooked).
Add water,salt,pepper powder,ajinomoto,soya sauce, tomato ketchup and vinegar.
Mix and cook on a low flame for 1-2 minutes with close lid.In little water make a paste of the cornflour and mix to the above.
Cook for another minute.

Serve hot with steamed rice or simply pour over noodles and enjoy this healthy dish.
 
Sounds good. Don't you add any sugar to it?
I think a little bit of sweet would do it good.
I always add some to mine.

Yes definitely, you could add sugar to it as per your taste. I usually don't.
By the way, your user name suggest you are a big sweet n sour fan :p
