Is it my computer or are there adds at the bottom of some posts?
I would hate to see SP become like so many other forums I have been on with the adds.

Yep- I agree... this is fast becoming a real nuisance, janie.

Usually with forum sites, if they are free, one of the draw backs is adds. Unless the person that has set up the SP Forum pays for the site, we are going to have to live with all the adds. If this is a paid for site then one of the ways to reduce the price is to allow for advertising.
Chipping in as members to prevent adds has draw backs too as I learned with another site I belonged to. One day the site was just gone.... It's a no win situation.

Just ignore it sweetie!!! I would hate to see our forum disappear!!!!!! I overlook stuff like that and do not allow it to bother me.

Last one I was on started with the adds at the bottom of the posts and then later they hit you with adds everytime you tried to post. You would have to click through them to post anything. Right now the adds arent not a bother..I just hope they stay that way and dont get any worse.
