I know this is Louisiana but all our water is now imported. The Mississippi River, fed by rains up north, is at or near flood stage. They had to open the Atchafalaya flood system just to keep New Orleans from flooding. Sacrificed Morgan City (above sea level) just to save New Orleans (below sea level). But in north Louisiana we have Cane River Lake. Used to be a river that flowed into the Red that flowed into the Mississippi but now it's damned at both ends so technically it's a lake and fed only on Louisiana rains and it's so low that all agriculture pumping is banned and all boat traffic is closed.

good grief! it's still raining/pouring here - weatherman says the sun is coming out - but when????
maybe it needs to make that "Loretta Young" appearance or something - but I am so sick of this weather
heck - I'm sick of being sick - the weather is decent - temperature wise - but it seems like everyone has a bug of some kind
maybe a few days of sunshine will cure it - if we ever get any
