So, this year for Christmas I picked-up about thrity bucks worth of snacks and toys for my cats. When I got home from Dad's Christmas Eve night I had about a half hour to quick-shower and change, and to "open presents" with Lilli & Iris- my kitties. They chewed on a rawhide and a few liver nubs, and pawed around a bit at a ball w/ a bell in it, and on a fuzzy furry thing-a-ma-jig. As I brushed my teeth and took a leak, the cats had dragged the toys into the bathroom as I got ready.

16 hours later, after a double shift, I got back home and those expensive Christmas trinkets were still right on the bathroom floor where those damned varmints left them- right alongside of a heap of toilet paper- completely shredded and strewn all over the place!

Had I known a 10-cent roll of TP would entertain my pets just as much or more than $30 worth of crap from Pet Smart, I'd certainly have not gone to the trouble and expense to buy the sack-full of stuff!

Little turds! Ha-Ha! Smiles- k.

The branch was just low enough for him to jump on ..he was holding it with his teeth going back and forth !

Us and our pets!!!Yesterday we let "the girls" out of their chicken coupe for a while and they loved it. Then Zeke & Duke romped and played like two wild "things" going strong for the longest time it was totally comical and highly entertaining! Zeke was simply in heaven, being a 5 yr. old I was scarred playing so with the puppy would give him cardiac arrest! But he loved it!!!!

I have 4 cats here. They think that the Christmas Tree is their Christmas gift. As I set it up each year they surround me and just sit there like a flock of vultures waiting to pounce on a piece of meat. For the few weeks the tree is up it's a constant battle to keep them from nesting in the branches or using the decorations as their play toys. When the tree comes down I have to play like an Easter Egg hunt to find all of the ornaments they have knocked under the furniture.
