So many of the recpes call for beer, wine, sherry - and you can make many of them by substituting tomato juice or veggie juice, broths, milk, etc.

I appreciate all of your help Mama.

I have been trying to eat better recently. Loose a few pounds with summer on the way.
My hubby makes me an Easter basket every year and on Halloween he makes me a big bucket of Halloween candy. So far I have limited myself to 2 small bite size pieces of candy a day. He bought pounds and pounds of candy at SAMS a few weeks ago. Reese cup eggs, Nestles eggs, Hersheys Nuggets, Hersheys candy bar assortment, M&M assortment and cotton candy. I have a large basket full of candy plus three gallon freezer bags full. Not to mention the six big cups of cotton candy lol.
I made him the chocolate custard pie last night and he was all your gonna help me eat it right. I said nope its all yours. I have a dump truck of candy to eat that should do me til Christmas or later.

look at it this way - CHOCOLATE IS GOOD FOR YOU! It keeps you healthy!

My gram worked for a large candy company - making chocolate and other types of candy -and eating it daily - lived a long, long, long, healthy life!

she always said her secret was the chocolate!

I just love chocolate so I have to watch and not over indulge lol.
