Alrighty friends... I'm outta here! Leaving work a few hours early for my weekend off, and am taking a vacation day so I won't be back online until Thursday Night. Am headed to Kroger's now to do my holiday grocery-shopping. Will be doing a dinner at my place w/ buds Tuedsay Night, then a couple other family-feeds throughout the week. In mere hours my place will be smellin' like cinnamon and cranberries... Here's wishin' you all a wonderful week and a fantastic holiday. This site and the friends I've made here are definitely amongst the blessings I've enjoyed this past year- I am thankful for each and every one of ya's! Hugs to ya all! And if you're out and about in central Illinois anytime this week, drop by for pie and coffee! :)
 
Yes enjoy your celebrations, of course we don't have thanks giving over hear, but we do have Guy Fawkes which was fun.

Howdy everyone! It's Thanksgiving Night and here I sit at my desk after nearly 4 wonderful days off. Man- am I ever fat n' happy! ...and giggling like silly thanks to CanMan and his sunbathin' half-nekkid bird! :)

Hey JP,

Noooo way you just gotta love you some fried spam and moon pies! I just couldn't help it we were really really hungry:D And I had help too, just could not pass on that one. It was great having so many Sous Chef's too!

OH and by the way did you use a cookie cutter and make that thar spam into nice cute Turkey Shapes?;)

P.S. Do you all have Mardi Gras up your way? Do you know the chant "Bubba wants moon pie, Bubba wants moon pie" that they say when the floats roll by during the parades? I dislike Mardi Gras, but that Chant always cracked me up! Mardi Gras was a big deal down in the lower Alabama are where I used to live. It was a mess and traffic was usually terrible and just a big turn off for a commuter on their way to and from work! :(
