Heard the Bells of an Ice-Cream Truck Yesterday...

I was always partial to the drumsticks---chocolate covered vanila cones, sprinkled with some kind of nuts.
Although the trucks were great, even better was the GH Man who walked the beaches, carrying an over-the-shoulder freezer. By the time you paid him, and got the wrapper off, the ice cream was melting down your arm and dripping off your elbow.
Poor baby. Had to take another dip in the waves, just to clean up.

I heard one go by yesterday too and it always makes me think of that song…”Do your (um)
Bells uh right bells hang low do they wobble to and fro can you tie them in a knot can you tie them in a bow can you sling them ore your shoulder like a continental soldier to your uh bells hang low….. I wish they had Hagen das bars.
