Im afraid we are going to have a scorcher this summer like the one year before last. We went straight from cool to burning up.

I went out and uncovered the pool today. It's tempting to jump in with this heat. I put some tomato plants in the ground. Hopefully this weather isn't going to turn like it has a tendency of doing. Watch, a week from now we will get either a couple inches of snow or a killer frost.

Bless your heart IC. It was 96 again today. Supposed to rain tomorrow and do so for the next four days straight.
Jon's Dad got the beets sown in the garden yesterday and the carrots. The potatoes are up through the ground. They plowed the garden he raises down at Jon's brothers yesterday. He spoke to their Dad earlier and he said he was getting ready to go down there and plant taters. He is 70 and I worry about him working out in this heat.

I have been kinda quiet this week because I lost my dad last weekend. He had a minor heart attack last Saturday and a severe one in the hospital Sunday morning. It's good to worry. Some people push themselves to hard trying to feel needed. Plowing isn't easy work in this heat no matter what the age.
