We respect everyone's opinion. Owning guns - that's a person's preference. Personally - a wooden spoon and a long old-fashioned rolling pin works well too.

I don't think there is one nationality that has not been discriminated against one way or another.

People are people and people can be cruel. Period.

You all know better than that.

Now - behave yourselves and get onto a better subject.

Yes this is a cooking site and we do have the option of discussing other things.

Now you either behave or you're all going to bed tonight without any diessert! And no TV, cell phones, DVD's, ipods, etc. for a week!

This is the "chatter" forum where we as members are able to, and encouraged to discuss anything we like- even things non food-related. The key though- is remaining polite & friendly. And in allowing others to feel as they wish, and to share without dominating or taking control. I have unique and personal views on many issues that a lot of my close peers feel far differently about- though we seldom get rude or pushy about it with one another... we could, mind you. But we don't. Let's remember- FOOD is the common thread here that unites us all. Any differences discovered thru threads at the chatter forum should serve to further interest and unite us as a group of friends. Afterall, there's nothing more fun or enlightenling than inviting a dozen folks to my table who think differently than I- as long as we all remain caring and warm in the sharing... If it's conflict one seeks- perhaps they'd be better served by seeking it elsewhere.
