Amaretto Chunk Cookies.
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt 1 cup butter or margarine (2 sticks) softened
1 cup brown sugar 1/2 c white sugar 2 Large eggs
1 Tablespoon of Amaretto 2 t almond extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
1 cup sliced almonds
1. preheat oven375 On wax paper, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt
2. In Large bowl, with mixer med speed, beet butter and sugar until creamy. Beat in eggs, amaretto, and extract. Reduce speed to low, beat in flour mixture just until blended, stir in chocolate chips, coconut , almonds
3. Drop by Tablespoons, 2 in. apart uncreased cookie sheet Bake 10 - 12 min makes 4 doz. (freezer up to 3 months) Cookie

I love amaretto. Could I make these without the coconut?
