I have been noticing on many threads the discussions of spices, brines and homemade mixes such as Taco Seasonings and rubs. Even information regarding herbs and seasonings used in other countries.
I think that it would be a good idea that a thread on the Cooking Forum for "The Spice Place" be devoted to discussions concerning Spices and Seasonings. I've looked through the threads on the list and there is not one. Kind of odd for a Forum with the name "The Spice Place".
It would be nice to have a thread to open and find out how to make a homemade chili powder an Italian herb mix, what combination of spices work well as a rub for certain items. Honestly, using the search option for a spice isn't going to give very good results. Type in salt and see what happens, lol.
We all use spices. It would be nice to have a place to talk about them.
