Hey let's get better sis!
I know..I remember you get the headaches worse than me. I hope your feeling better.
If all else fails and you can sleep a dose of Nyquil or Theraflu Nighttime always helps mine. I sleep and when I get up the headache is usually gone.
I went and got groceries and there were a couple bags of cherries in my way in the freezer so I had to put them down in the fridge. As soon as they thawed out I had to use them for something. I tasted it..thought it was very good. The apple preserves had a thin sliced lemon in it and some nutmeg. THAT one was very good. My allergies mess with my sense of taste so bad its hard for me to judge some things...like the salsa. I put out a jar to take to Jons Dad but I couldnt tell much about the heat. I didnt think it tasted to hot to me but he may think otherwise. IF its to hot Im sure Ill hear about it lol.
Some of the apples he has given me have been so hard that Im having to cook them overnight in the crockpot to get them soft enough for jam/marmalade. He has one tree that I like and its apples are more soft and tart. They work fab for canning. Last year I used some of his apples to make apple butter but then again that was hours in the crockpot.
The majority of the apple trees have really crisp apples..which I prefer if Im going to eat one but not for canning.
