Kev~ you are the best!!! I really mean that, you are :)

You made the ladies day, night, year. I wish, very sincerely, more souls were as loving as yours. Having been a social worker for years, I've seen so many lonely and forgotten older persons, mentally disabled, and handicapped persons that pine for family, human interactions especially during Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays.

Your actions speak extreme volumes of your true nature, and that alone, minimally, ensures you are a blessed person with a heart that I am sure God himself smiles on you.

I am very happy I am a friend of yours as no doubt everyone here and everywhere you go, share that same sentiment.

That's wonderful Kevin. I love to take in people at a loose end for the holidays they seem to make it even more memorable. I hope your Christmas is just as pleasant.

Thanks all- these comments are wonderfully warm and make cause for sweet smiles! The truth is- as you all know- it does make one's heart warm to do for others... But the doing for others is totally two-fold. I get back just as much as I give in the kind generosity department! Blessings abound everywhere... and it's especially fulfilling to give them to/get them from folks who might easily otherwise be forgotten... You all know my story- when I was ten years old my Mom took ill and has been impacted for decades from troubling mental illness. This was a burdensome thing for so many years. But we've been lucky enuf to be blessed with an amount of reconciliation and healing from much of it this past year or two- and for that I am grateful.

Oh Kev...your story brought tears to my eyes...When I was 9 yrs old my Mother suffered a total breakdown. I never had a Mom growing up and miss those early years of memories of Mother who passed away on 2000 . What a sweet soul you are !
